Oliver Perry House

750 Harbor Road

Last to be built was the Greek Revival home with Doric columns in the center of the group at 750.  The house was built in 1843 by the youngest brother, Oliver H. Perry, soon after completing his studies at Yale College in nearby New Haven.  Together, the three Perry brothers’ houses are a monument to the neoclassical fever that gripped Americans in the second quarter of the 1800s.
